TrailMarking
Whether the path supplies deliberate wayfinding marks. This is independent of physical condition, institutional standing, and permission to travel.
TrailStanding
How much institutional and physical reality a trail line presently claims. Access is independent: an established trail may be closed, while an informal path may still cross public land.
WayKind
The source-authored structural kind of a routable segment. This is orthogonal to terrain and surface: a forest footway is still a footway.
WayRealm
The routing projection in which a way participates. Manual routing admits every value; Finder admits only recreation and its bounded connectors.
