Read rows back from bd export (JSONL) or bd list --json (an array),
unwrapping the BD_JSON_ENVELOPE {"data": …} when present.
Non-JSON lines are skipped rather than failing the read: bd prints a
one-time usage notice on stdout, and a caller that asked for JSON should get
the rows it asked for rather than an error about a banner.
