Function decode_abort

Source
pub fn decode_abort(
    bytes: &[u8],
    metadata: Option<&CallMetadata>,
) -> Result<DecodedAbort, AbortDecodeError>
Expand description

Decode an abort buffer ([selector][payload]) into the exception it carries.

The selector is matched against the resolved method’s declared spec exceptions. Frontends may resolve an unknown selector against their own standard exception registry and call decode_abort_payload. An unknown selector or a payload that does not decode cleanly against the matched type is an error carrying the parsed selector and payload; callers report it alongside the raw hex.
