pub fn sync_veils(dir: &Path, bookmarks: &Bookmarks) -> bool

Regenerate the home’s bookmark veils (fav: portals) from the current bookmark list. Star a world → a veil appears at home; unstar → it fades.

Only fav: portals are touched: the front door and anything the user authored by hand survive every sync. Bookmarks already reachable through a non-fav portal (e.g. the front door itself) are skipped, as is the home’s own Locator. The constellation re-lays itself out on a ring each sync, leaving the northern arc clear for the front door.
