Modules§

archive
Turns one input path into a sequence of independently-readable members.
cli
Argument parsing. rg-compatible flag names wherever the job is the same; -g deliberately means member filter, an approved divergence.
escape
Terminal escaping. A log line is written by whoever sent the request, so it can carry escape sequences that retitle the window, clear the screen, write the clipboard, or on older terminals type text back into the shell.
inflate
Choosing between streaming and whole-buffer inflate.
print
Printer construction and output-mode dispatch. path(true) is mandatory: without it sink_with_path silently degrades to sink and member names vanish.
resource
Staying out of the way on a loaded production server.
sched
Bounded worker pool. Concurrency lives at the archive boundary and nowhere else, because gzip has no index: member N requires inflating 1..N-1.
search
Search configuration and the -m sink. Deliberately thin: the matching engine is ripgrep’s, unmodified.
sniff
Content-based format detection. There is no -z flag by design.
source
Positional arguments become an ordered list of archives to search. Order is preserved because these archives are days, so argument order is chronological order.
