Expand description

The Topics tab (doc 34, section 6.4): the topics of the server with their numbers, creating, editing and deleting them. This file is the state and the keys; view.rs draws it. The checks of the form are the cheap ones (a name, a number, a key=value); everything else is the server’s to refuse, and its reason goes in the form (TUI-TPF-02).

Modules§

messages
The Messages view of a topic (doc 34, TUI-MSG-*): it is one of the two views of an open topic, next to the charts, so the topic is never asked for again. Publishing, reading (on request), acknowledging, giving back and pruning. The API does not list a queue: the rows are the messages this session received (D-TUI-6).
monitor
The charts of one queue (doc 34, TUI-MON-*, TUI-MSG-11): Enter on a topic opens three charts stacked on a common time axis. Each reading of GET /stats/topics/{name} becomes one point per line; the history is only what was sampled since the charts were opened.
preview
The strip of charts under the list of topics: the three charts of the selected queue side by side, fed by the same reading as the charts dialog (GET /stats/topics/{name}), once per sampling interval, only while the list is what is shown. What was sampled of the topics selected lately is kept, so coming back to one does not start its charts over.
view
The drawing of the Topics tab: the table of topics with their numbers and the detail of the selected one.

Constants§

MAX_PAGES
How many pages of topics one read follows before it gives up (200 topics each).

Functions§

deleted
A topic was deleted: it leaves the table at once (with its dead-letter queue), before the next read.

The keys of the form of a topic.

Why an action cannot run now, as a catalog key; None means it can (TUI-FRM-10).
numbers
The numbers of a topic, when the statistics have been read and have it.
on_action
saved
The server answered the form: the topic was created or changed.
selected
selected_index
The index of the selected topic in topics; the first one if the selection is gone.

The form was filled in and the person asked to save it.
valid_name

The topics shown: those whose name has the filter in it, in the chosen order.
