A client running client profile must never drive a daemon that serves
another one: its sessions, model and config writes would land in the
wrong profile. The socket is per profile, but its stem is sanitised
(a.b and a_b share daemon-a_b.sock), so the handshake’s
Welcome.profile is the authority. None and Some("") both mean the
default profile. Returns the refusal message on a mismatch.
