(path under the new directory, contents), written in this order so a directory always
exists before a file lands in it. Every body stays a closed form until its own layer’s
written sample(), and each node’s comment says why it is written that way rather than
the way that costs orders of magnitude more.
(command, why), in the order a stranger should run them: what the composition IS before
what it sounds like, and what a render costs before paying for it. Answered beside the
tree new wrote, so the first thing an agent reads is the next thing it should do.
--in where the caller named a directory, the process’s own where it did not. Either way
the path is read here, so a caller is told which directory answered nothing rather than
meeting the graph’s own refusal for a tree that was never there.
target: null is a whole-directory lint — the only mode that runs the entry-point check —
so a caller can tell an empty diagnostics there from an empty one under a target, where
that check never runs at all.
De-interleaves every channel into its own plane at the file’s own native rate — no
resampling, ever, so a reference recording’s own clock is what every reading is against.
Refuses if <dir>/<name> already exists, so new never overwrites a caller’s own work.
An idempotency_key is recorded beside the composition and answers the same Scaffolded
again when the same key is retried over a tree still holding exactly this scaffold, so a
network retry or an agent restart converges rather than erroring.
Every key a trace declares is written, null where the node has no such thing — the one
null convention sva_core::NONE states, so a caller reads a field rather than probing for it.
