Module evidence

Source
Expand description

RFC 4998 evidence records over original sources and current execution.

Reading preserves unprotected hints and unknown timestamp formats. Neither a readable record nor a matching hash establishes historical TSA validity. https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4998#section-3

Modules§

verify
Complete ERS sequence execution; historical acceptance is explicitly injected.

Structs§

ArchiveTimeStamp
One archive timestamp, preserving the exact renewed timestamp encoding.
AsyncStreams
A borrowed group of literal asynchronous object streams, without allocation.
Chain
One timestamp-renewal chain, in its original sequence order.
EncryptionInfo
Unprotected re-encryption context, not evidence for plaintext correspondence.
EvidenceRecord
Original evidence record. Flat ownership makes traversal and drop stack-safe.
ObjectInput
Closed tree recipe over complete caller-supplied object streams.
Original
Original field context, independent of a movable reader cursor.
PartialTree
One reduced-tree level. Logical hashes retain original OCTET STRING pieces.
PriorSequence
Immutable DER input covering EVERY chain preceding an actual new chain.

Enums§

InputError
Original acquisition/provider failure or a completed unusable ERS recipe.
Membership
Whether the proof names one object or exactly an entire document group.
TimeStamp
RFC3161 token or an original alternative timestamp requiring its own owner.

Traits§

AsyncObjects
An original object group whose complete streams can suspend for acquisition. Each batch already contains every requested chain algorithm. Implementations must return its outputs only after that object’s complete successful input.
