Crate strop_workspace

Crate strop_workspace

Source
Expand description

Shared workspace and resource identity (0042): the pure contracts every consumer — editor, remote transport, LSP, Git, picker — routes by.

This crate owns identity, never behavior: no I/O, no subprocess, no filesystem probe. The transport (strop-remote), language services and Git implement behavior against these types; nothing here depends on them.

  • addr: validated remote address forms — endpoint, canonical file, unresolved user location, and the strict percent-codec.
  • Filesystem: the namespace a path names (local disk or one endpoint).
  • ResourceLocation: one resolved path on one filesystem.

Modules§

addr
Validated remote address forms (0034 “Implementation boundaries” 2): ssh://[user@]host[:port]/absolute/path as a pure, byte-native URI domain, split by responsibility.
directory
Pure directory identity and metadata, shared by local, SSH and container views.
operation
Pure filesystem intent, observation and outcome contracts. No native effects.

Structs§

ContainerId
A canonical container identity: the 64-hex id docker inspect reports. Names and prefixes resolve through inspect first; the checked constructor keeps a display label from ever becoming an identity.
ContainerIdError
Why a container identity string was refused.
ResourceLocation
One resolved path on one filesystem namespace. Always resolved: an unresolved user entry (a ~ home query) is a crate::addr::RemoteLocation, never a ResourceLocation.

Enums§

Filesystem
The filesystem a path names.
