Expand description
Bounded torrent tasks with explicit caller consent for networking. Identity comes from original metainfo bytes; only hash-verified pieces are served. Verification, durable storage, socket writes and remote receipt are distinct. Shutdown joins peer tasks and storage work before releasing a destination.
Modules§
- profile
- Per-torrent resource settings, separate from fixed protocol policy.
- provisioning
- Descriptor-relative destinations using validated relative torrent paths. Named destinations never overwrite existing payloads during creation.
- selection
- File selection projected onto v1’s indivisible, hash-verified pieces. This is a scheduling plan, not storage authority or a durable checkpoint.
- session
- Shared inbound routing. Reservations are conservative and retained until removal joins the torrent. Admission grants no discovery authority.
- settings
- The durable per-torrent settings shared by the core, daemon and clients.
- torrent
- One task per torrent owns discovery, peers and the picker. Storage runs in one separate bounded writer task. Network consent is explicit; stop then join before releasing storage or starting a replacement torrent owner.
