Shell words for the commands specfold suggests (next:, fix commands, reruns).

Functions

join

Every item quoted and joined with spaces.

opt

C229: flag value as shell words that parse back as that option: a value starting with - is written --flag=value, so it is not read as another option.

positionals

C229: positional words for the end of a command; -- goes first when one starts with -.

quote

s as one POSIX shell word: plain words stay as they are, anything else is single-quoted with embedded ' written as '\''. Every suggested command that embeds a path, id, or other user value goes through this one function.

word

Any displayable value (an id, a path) as one shell word.
