Functions§

apply_override_answer
Carries out answer for stale: moves the copies to a backup folder under home (named by stamp), removes them, or records the “no” in declined_file. Returns what it did, for the user.
ensure_catalog
Before a command that needs venues: when no catalog is installed, fetch it once (first use), saying so. Offline, it says how to get venues later and leaves the example file; the command then runs with what there is.
offer_catalog_updates
Before a command that reads venues: when the user’s copies hide a newer catalog venue, ask (once a process) whether to save and replace them, replace them, or keep them. In the TUI the question is a list; on a terminal, the [Y]es/[N]o/[O]verwrite prompt; scripted runs never ask.
parse_override_answer
y, n or o (any case, a word starting with one); anything else, an empty line included, keeps the copies.
run
Run the venues command.
stale_copies
The user’s copies in registry that hide catalog capabilities, minus those already declined for the same catalog version (declined).
