pub struct CcsdsDistributor<E> {
    pub apid_handler: Box<dyn SendableCcsdsPacketHandler<Error = E>>,
}
Expand description

The CCSDS distributor dispatches received CCSDS packets to a user provided packet handler.

The passed APID handler is required to be Sendable to allow more ergonomic usage with threads.

Fields§

§apid_handler: Box<dyn SendableCcsdsPacketHandler<Error = E>>

User provided APID handler stored as a generic trait object. It can be cast back to the original concrete type using the Self::apid_handler_ref or the Self::apid_handler_mut method.

Implementations§

source§

impl<E: 'static> CcsdsDistributor<E>

source

pub fn new(apid_handler: Box<dyn SendableCcsdsPacketHandler<Error = E>>) -> Self

source

pub fn apid_handler_ref<T: SendableCcsdsPacketHandler<Error = E>>( &self ) -> Option<&T>

This function can be used to retrieve a reference to the concrete instance of the APID handler after it was passed to the distributor. See the module documentation for an fsrc-example.

source

pub fn apid_handler_mut<T: SendableCcsdsPacketHandler<Error = E>>( &mut self ) -> Option<&mut T>

This function can be used to retrieve a mutable reference to the concrete instance of the APID handler after it was passed to the distributor.

impl<T> Downcast for Twhere T: Any,

source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T, Global>) -> Box<dyn Any, Global>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T, Global>) -> Rc<dyn Any, Global>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.

impl<T> From<T> for T

source§

fn from(t: T) -> T

Returns the argument unchanged.

source§

impl<T, U> Into<U> for Twhere U: From<T>,
