[][src]Struct safer_ffi::char_p::char_p_raw

#[repr(transparent)]pub struct char_p_raw(_);

Same as char_p_ref, but without any lifetime attached whatsoever.

It is only intended to be used as the parameter of a callback that locally borrows it, due to limitations of the [ReprC][ trait@crate::layout::ReprC] design w.r.t. higher-rank trait bounds.

C Layout

Implementations

impl char_p_raw[src]

pub unsafe fn as_ref<'borrow>(&'borrow self) -> char_p_ref<'borrow>[src]

Safety

  • For the duration of the 'borrow, the pointer must point to the beginning of a valid and immutable null-terminated slice of c_chars.

Trait Implementations

impl Debug for char_p_raw[src]

impl<'lt> From<char_p_ref<'lt>> for char_p_raw[src]

impl ReprC for char_p_raw where
    NonNullRef<c_char>: ReprC
[src]

type CLayout = <NonNullRef<c_char> as ReprC>::CLayout

The CType having the same layout as Self.
