A letter-by-letter morph between two states labels: identical
characters are paired left to right and slide from their old position to
their new one; characters with no pair fade (or, with unmatched: "scramble", cycle through placeholder glyphs before settling).
How unmatched glyphs behave during a TextMorphConfig transition —
characters present in the incoming label with no identical counterpart in
the outgoing one.
