Decode a snapshot JSON value strictly against its declared type: no coercion, no default, every record field required, no extra field.

decode_v2

Decode a plan 3 snapshot value strictly against its declared version 2 type (spec 032, 3.4): a nullable field accepts null or a missing key, stored as null; a map is a JSON object within its bounds; a record that fails its presence predicate is absent. Key existence is never presence.
