decode_order_preserving

Decode bytes produced by encode_order_preserving back into a scalar.

encode_order_preserving

Encode a scalar into bytes whose lexicographic order matches value order.

encode_value_with_prefix

Encode a scalar with its logical type tag as a one-byte prefix.

logical_from_tag

Decode a logical type from its one-byte tag.

logical_tag

Stable one-byte tag for a logical type used in encoded keys.
