Module context

Expand description

Explicit, session-owned runtime capabilities and invocation state.

RuntimeContext is the one context propagated by Core, the VM, nested calls, and future native/foreign/parallel adapters. Legacy ambient APIs are migrated through legacy and must not become new semantic dependencies.

Modules§

legacy
Sole migration boundary for ambient runtime APIs.

Structs§

ContextFuture
Future adapter that activates the same context for every poll and while the inner future is destroyed. It never keeps ambient state installed across a yield, so independently polled sessions cannot observe one another.
ForeignCall
RuntimeCallRequest
RuntimeCapabilityError
Stable failure returned when an invocation requests a service its host did not compose. This is intentionally target-neutral: browser/WASM reports the same capability failure as a native host with that service disabled.
RuntimeContext
Complete explicit runtime authority for one session/invocation tree.
RuntimeContextGuard
RuntimeParallelResources
RuntimeServicePorts
Narrow, typed ports composed by the host. An absent port is meaningful and produces a stable capability error through the corresponding require_* accessor; there is no string-keyed service locator.

Enums§

HostInteraction
NativeCapability
ParallelCapability
RuntimeCapability
Stable families of optional runtime capability.
RuntimeLanguageMode

Constants§

DEFAULT_CALLSTACK_LIMIT
DEFAULT_ERROR_NAMESPACE

Traits§

RuntimeAccelerationService
RuntimeBuiltinService
Invocation-scoped builtin authority used by exact compiled products. When installed, the dispatcher must not fall back to process-global discovery for a missing name.
RuntimeCallService
RuntimeErrorService
RuntimeForeignService
RuntimeHostService
RuntimeNativeService
RuntimeObjectService
RuntimeParallelService
RuntimePlacementService
Session-owned execution-placement authority. The runtime exposes only executor-neutral contracts; candidate generation and policy remain in their owning executor/acceleration crates.
