MachineRequestVerifier

Trait MachineRequestVerifier

Source
pub trait MachineRequestVerifier: Send + Sync {
    // Required method
    fn verify<'life0, 'async_trait>(
        &'life0 self,
        request: Request,
    ) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Request, MachineEndpointError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>
       where Self: 'async_trait,
             'life0: 'async_trait;
}
Expand description

Host-owned cryptographic verifier for signed webhooks or transport-authenticated mTLS identities. Implementations must fail closed, bind the exact request, and enforce provider freshness/replay policy where applicable. Never accept a browser-supplied header as proof of a client certificate.

The policy supplies a buffered body of at most 1 MiB. Return the authenticated request with that body preserved for the handler.

Required Methods§

Source

fn verify<'life0, 'async_trait>( &'life0 self, request: Request, ) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Request, MachineEndpointError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>
where Self: 'async_trait, 'life0: 'async_trait,

Authenticates and returns the same method, URI and readable body.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
