Metrics about the updates distributed via the gate.

This type is a metrics::Source that provides a number of metrics for a unit that can be derived from the updates sent by the unit and thus are common to all units.

Gates provide access to values of this type via the Gate::metrics method. When stored behind an arc t can be kept and passed around freely.
