Expand description

Represents the physical/optical layer of the head mount display.

Fields

screen_lens_distance_m: f32

Distance between the screen and the lens, in metres.

inter_lens_distance_m: f32

Distance between the optical centre of both lenses, in metres. Assumed to be horizontal.

fov_angle_degrees: f32

Field of view angle relative to centre.

tray_lens_distance_m: f32

Distance between the bottom of the tray and the optical centre of the lens, in metres.

pincushion_distortion_coefficients: Vec<f32>

Coefficients K_i for the pincushion distortion function (real screen position → virtual screen position) (relative to optical centre) [ p’ = p \left(1 + \sum_{i=1}^{n} K_{i} r^{2i}\right) ] where ( r ) is the distance, in tan-angle units, from the optical centre of the point
