pub fn list_session_files_sync(dir: &Path) -> Vec<PathBuf>

Synchronously list every JSONL session file under dir, newest-first by modification time.

The repo’s list_session_metadata is async and scans one cwd-encoded subdirectory level; the in-TUI /session selector runs on the blocking key thread and cannot await it, so this walks the same layout directly. Both .jsonl files directly under dir and one level of subdirectories are accepted.
