Module search 

In-buffer search: find every occurrence of a needle, and a cursor over the results.

Net-new rather than a port of xtext’s gtk_xtext_search, which was built on GRegex plus a search_found list threaded through the entry chain. Here a match is a (message, source, byte range) over the structured message model and needs no parallel bookkeeping on the buffer at all.

Matching is literal, not regex. The needle is what the user typed; there is no metacharacter vocabulary to explain and no pathological backtracking to defend against.
