rightkit-agent-engine-protocol — pure data types crate.
No I/O, no async. All types implement serde::Serialize + serde::Deserialize
using camelCase field names and $kind discriminators that match the TypeScript
frontend types in host-app/src/lib/types.ts exactly.

Modules§
- approvals
- Structured approval request contracts ported from Codex’s protocol.
- artifact
- effect_
settlement - event
- ids
- Canonical stable identifiers for sessions, forks, events, and transcript messages.
- message
- op
- protocol
- Approval policy contracts ported from Codex’s portable protocol.
- references
- refs
- retry_
notice - Provider retry notices: a plain-data hook so a provider adapter can tell
its caller “I am backing off and retrying” without owning any session
state. The engine installs a notifier on the request metadata and turns
each notice into a
providerRetryingprotocol event. - schedule
- Canonical schedule-run types — the single definition in the workspace.
- secret_
scan - Shared secret detection (A195).
- task
- time
- tool
- tool_
output - Live tool output hook: a plain-data sink so a long-running process tool
(shell/exec) can report output chunks while it runs without owning any
session state. The engine installs a sink per tool call and turns the
(coalesced) chunks into
toolOutputDeltaprotocol events. - traits
