The three replaceable spans of a release workflow under the rendering that gates its request, each as its ordered begin and end marker.
The markers are YAML comments, because a reader may open the snippet before any landing renders it, and each begin marker carries the newline and the indentation in front of it, so a landing that replaces nothing strips the pair and leaves the authored bytes exactly.
The spans are in file order: the trigger the gate wakes on, the standing arm the gate replaces, and the gate’s own job.
