Promoted(TransitionOutcome)

The target covered the watermark and was promoted through a fenced handoff; the old owner is now fenced.

AbortedSourceRetained

The target did not cover the watermark; the move was abandoned and the source retains authority. Carries the target’s applied position and the watermark it fell short of.
