Compare two binaries for functional equivalence.

Two binaries are considered equivalent if they have:

• Matching code hashes (same executable code)
• Matching text section sizes
• Matching debug status

The full hash may differ due to timestamps and paths, so it is not used for equivalence checking.

Arguments

• local - Hash result from local build
• remote - Hash result from remote build

Returns

true if the binaries are functionally equivalent
