This module implements quantum benchmarking and characterization protocols for evaluating quantum computer performance.
§Quantum Volume
Quantum Volume (QV) is a holistic metric that captures the overall performance of a quantum computer, taking into account:
- Number of qubits
- Gate fidelity
- Qubit connectivity
- Error rates
- Measurement quality
§Quantum Process Tomography
QPT completely characterizes a quantum operation by reconstructing its process matrix (chi matrix) or Choi representation.
