Expand description
Structured failures and explicitly accessed, potentially sensitive native diagnostics.
KitError formats only classification, schema labels, and numeric context. Native
messages, identifiers and bodies are available through KitError::native_details
for deliberate inspection; they must not be copied into ordinary logs.
Structs§
- Error
Context - Safe operation context, including the location of a failed batch result row.
- KitError
- Structured error returned by the portable provider API.
- Native
Error Details - Potentially sensitive native details, available only through explicit inspection.
- Remote
Failure - An opaque remote failure, including failures inside successful batch or hosted results.
Enums§
- Classification
Basis - Evidence used to choose a portable classification; it does not imply retry safety.
- Error
Kind - Portable failure classification. This classification does not promise retry safety.
- Error
Phase - Stage at which the failure was observed; it does not assert that execution is safe to retry.
- Json
Error Category - JSON decoding category, retained independently of a formatted parser message.
- Json
Value Kind - Observed JSON value shape, including the absence of a required field.
- Native
Detail - One structured native fact with its meaning preserved across providers.
- Operation
- Caller-visible operation associated with a failure.
- Response
Details - Exact response observations, accessed deliberately because values may be sensitive.
- Response
Violation - A response invariant, assigned at its detection site without interpreting prose.
- Validation
Violation - A Kit-owned input invariant identified without disclosing caller values.
