archive_wal_records_for_identity
checkpoint_preserving_retained_segments_if_enabled: Checkpoint normally unless sync identity already exists, in which case WAL records are archived into retained segments before truncation.
checkpoint_with_retained_segments: Checkpoint a catalog with sync enabled, creating database identity if this is the first sync-aware operation.
open_preserving_retained_segments: Open a catalog and, if sync identity exists, archive replayed WAL records before recovery truncates wal.log.
