Defaults every stage runs under unless the caller set the option
themselves. bound_relax_factor’s default of 1e-8 relaxes every bound
and row before the solve, which on a complementarity pair means accepting
G >= -1e-8, and at a cone tip or a pair’s corner turns into a violation
of its square root: on benchmarks/calipso/ every reported success that
violated the model was a run under that default. honor_original_bounds
moves the answer back inside the bounds the model stated.
perturb_slack_max_rows (gh#1098’s row budget on the slack-block
perturbation, default 1000) is off: a lowered model crosses the budget
through its own product rows (MacMPEC’s 961-pair models have 1954
inequality rows), which are near-active as τ shrinks, not the inactive
rows the budget is for. Measured on the 167 MacMPEC stubs with the rest of
this driver unchanged: off moves pack-comp2p-32 from worse back to
its best known value and changes no other classification, at +0.9% wall
time (2,528 s to 2,551 s); individual models trade time both ways
(incid-set2-32 118 to 31 s, pack-comp1c-32 29 to 96 s).
