pub const MAX_DENSE_ENTRIES: usize = 4_000_000;Expand description
Above this many entries in the n × k stationarity matrix, a system whose
multipliers are not unique is not searched and reports
StationarityClass::NotSearched (which answers accepts, so the
ladder is unchanged). The set search factors the matrix densely; at
n ≈ 10⁴ with k ≈ n + m that is about 1 GB and 10¹² flops per call, a
size contact-implicit trajectory models reach. 4·10⁶ entries (32 MB)
keeps the call well under a second. A system with unique multipliers —
the common case, MPCC-LICQ — is certified at any size, sparsely (see
DENSE_ENTRIES).
