Struct plrust_trusted_pgrx::trigger_support::PgTrigger
source · pub struct PgTrigger<'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
The datatype accepted by a trigger
A safe structure providing the an API similar to the constants provided in a PL/pgSQL function.
Usage examples exist in the module level docs.
Implementations§
source§impl<'a> PgTrigger<'a>
impl<'a> PgTrigger<'a>
sourcepub fn new(&self) -> Option<PgHeapTuple<'_, AllocatedByPostgres>>
pub fn new(&self) -> Option<PgHeapTuple<'_, AllocatedByPostgres>>
Returns the new database row for INSERT/UPDATE operations in row-level triggers.
Returns None
in statement-level triggers and DELETE operations.
sourcepub fn old(&self) -> Option<PgHeapTuple<'_, AllocatedByPostgres>>
pub fn old(&self) -> Option<PgHeapTuple<'_, AllocatedByPostgres>>
Returns the old database row for UPDATE/DELETE operations in row-level triggers.
Returns None
in statement-level triggers and INSERT operations.
sourcepub fn name(&self) -> Result<&str, PgTriggerError>
pub fn name(&self) -> Result<&str, PgTriggerError>
Variable that contains the name of the trigger actually fired
sourcepub fn event(&self) -> TriggerEvent
pub fn event(&self) -> TriggerEvent
The raw Postgres event that caused this trigger to fire
sourcepub fn when(&self) -> Result<PgTriggerWhen, PgTriggerError>
pub fn when(&self) -> Result<PgTriggerWhen, PgTriggerError>
When the trigger was triggered (BEFORE
, AFTER
, INSTEAD OF
)
sourcepub fn level(&self) -> PgTriggerLevel
pub fn level(&self) -> PgTriggerLevel
The level, from the trigger definition (ROW
, STATEMENT
)
sourcepub fn op(&self) -> Result<PgTriggerOperation, PgTriggerError>
pub fn op(&self) -> Result<PgTriggerOperation, PgTriggerError>
The operation for which the trigger was fired
sourcepub fn relid(&self) -> Result<Oid, PgTriggerError>
pub fn relid(&self) -> Result<Oid, PgTriggerError>
the object ID of the table that caused the trigger invocation
sourcepub fn old_transition_table_name(&self) -> Result<Option<&str>, PgTriggerError>
pub fn old_transition_table_name(&self) -> Result<Option<&str>, PgTriggerError>
The name of the old transition table of this trigger invocation
sourcepub fn new_transition_table_name(&self) -> Result<Option<&str>, PgTriggerError>
pub fn new_transition_table_name(&self) -> Result<Option<&str>, PgTriggerError>
The name of the new transition table of this trigger invocation
sourcepub fn relation(&self) -> Result<PgRelation, PgTriggerError>
pub fn relation(&self) -> Result<PgRelation, PgTriggerError>
The PgRelation
corresponding to the trigger.
sourcepub fn table_name(&self) -> Result<String, PgTriggerError>
pub fn table_name(&self) -> Result<String, PgTriggerError>
The name of the schema of the table that caused the trigger invocation
sourcepub fn table_schema(&self) -> Result<String, PgTriggerError>
pub fn table_schema(&self) -> Result<String, PgTriggerError>
The name of the schema of the table that caused the trigger invocation
sourcepub fn extra_args(&self) -> Result<Vec<String>, PgTriggerError>
pub fn extra_args(&self) -> Result<Vec<String>, PgTriggerError>
The arguments from the CREATE TRIGGER statement
sourcepub fn trigger_data(&self) -> &'a TriggerData
