Whether the response is a part of a body and not the body: a 206, or
anything that says which bytes it is.
A plugin that rewrites the body - compresses it, substitutes in it,
encodes it anew - has nothing to do with a part. What it would make of
one is no part of anything: the hundred bytes asked for come back as
the gzip of those hundred bytes, under a Content-Range that still
counts in the bytes of the original.
