oxideav convert engine.
Translates ImageMagick-style arg syntax into an in-memory
oxideav_pipeline::Job and runs it through the same executor
the oxideav run subcommand uses. One code path serves image,
video, and audio inputs — a PNG → JPG is just a 1-frame stream.
Entry point: run takes the slice of arguments that come after
oxideav convert plus the caller-supplied registries, and does
everything.
§Example
use oxideav_core::RuntimeContext;
let mut ctx = RuntimeContext::new();
oxideav_source::register(&mut ctx);
// Equivalent to:
// oxideav convert in.png -resize 800x600 out.jpg
oxideav_cli_convert::run(
&[
"in.png".into(),
"-resize".into(),
"800x600".into(),
"out.jpg".into(),
],
&ctx,
).unwrap();Re-exports§

Modules§
- args
- IM-style arg parser.
- ico_
runner - ICO-output side-channel for the convert verb.
- mesh3d_
render - 3D scene → raster image.
- mesh3d_
runner - 3D-asset side-channel for the convert verb.
- op
- IM-style operations supported by
oxideav convert. - pdf_
runner - PDF-input side-channel for the convert verb.
- ping
-pingrunner — print one IM-format header line per “image” and exit without decoding pixels or writing any output.- pixel_
xform - Inline pixel transforms for the IM-style geometry / negate / tonal ops.
- plan_
to_ job - Translate an
crate::op::ConvertPlaninto anoxideav_pipeline::Job. - probe
--proberunner — decode the input far enough to extract structural metadata (page count, mesh count, sample rate, …), print a compact summary to stdout, and skip any output write.- raster_
io - Raster output plumbing shared by every side-channel that produces pixel buffers (PDF page rasterisation, 3D scene rendering).
- suggest
- “Did you mean?” — Levenshtein-based hint helper for unknown input/output extensions.
Functions§
- run
- Run convert with a caller-supplied
RuntimeContext.
