Element-wise product of two scalar fields, c[i] = a[i] * b[i].

The workhorse behind rho*h, and behind any coefficient-times-field assembly. Units multiply: the result carries [a]*[b].

Bit-identical to Field::pointwise_mul.

Panics

Panics if a.len() != b.len().
