Layers 1c/1d — polynomial evaluation and closed-form equation solvers (linear, quadratic, cubic). Closed-form polynomial equation solvers and a fixed-degree polynomial type.
Ports the OpenFOAM primitives/polynomialEqns layer: the linear, quadratic,
and cubic root finders (LinearEqn, QuadraticEqn, CubicEqn) that return a
tagged Roots container distinguishing real, complex, infinite, and NaN
roots, plus the general Polynomial<N> value /
derivative / integral type. All coefficients and results are bare f64 in SI
(dimensionless) form — these are numerical building blocks, not dimensioned
physical quantities.
