Whether a connection pool is homogeneous or heterogeneous.

Variants

Homogeneous

The default pool type. All connections in the pool are authenticated with the username and password provided during pool creation.

Heterogeneous

Connections with different authentication contexts can be created in the same pool. This pool type also supports external authentication. PoolBuilder::min_connections and PoolBuilder::connection_increment are ignored in this type.
