Struct obnth::Rename2Flags[][src]

pub struct Rename2Flags { /* fields omitted */ }

Linux-specific: Flags for rename2().

If any of these flags are not supported by the filesystem, rename2() will fail with EINVAL.

Implementations

impl Rename2Flags[src]

pub const NOREPLACE: Rename2Flags[src]

Rename the file without replacing the "new" file if it exists (fail with EEXIST in that case).

This requires support from the underlying filesystem; older kernels do not support this for a number of filesystems. See renameat2(2) for more details.

pub const EXCHANGE: Rename2Flags[src]

Atomically exchange the "old" and "new" files.

pub const WHITEOUT: Rename2Flags[src]

Create a "whiteout" object at the source of the rename while performing the rename. Useful for overlay/union filesystems.

Added in Linux 3.18. Requires CAP_MKNOD.

pub const fn empty() -> Rename2Flags[src]

Returns an empty set of flags

pub const fn all() -> Rename2Flags[src]

Returns the set containing all flags.

pub const fn bits(&self) -> c_int[src]

Returns the raw value of the flags currently stored.

pub fn from_bits(bits: c_int) -> Option<Rename2Flags>[src]

Convert from underlying bit representation, unless that representation contains bits that do not correspond to a flag.

pub const fn from_bits_truncate(bits: c_int) -> Rename2Flags[src]

Convert from underlying bit representation, dropping any bits that do not correspond to flags.

pub const unsafe fn from_bits_unchecked(bits: c_int) -> Rename2Flags[src]

Convert from underlying bit representation, preserving all bits (even those not corresponding to a defined flag).

pub const fn is_empty(&self) -> bool[src]

Returns true if no flags are currently stored.

pub const fn is_all(&self) -> bool[src]

Returns true if all flags are currently set.

pub const fn intersects(&self, other: Rename2Flags) -> bool[src]

Returns true if there are flags common to both self and other.

pub const fn contains(&self, other: Rename2Flags) -> bool[src]

Returns true all of the flags in other are contained within self.

pub fn insert(&mut self, other: Rename2Flags)[src]

Inserts the specified flags in-place.

pub fn remove(&mut self, other: Rename2Flags)[src]

Removes the specified flags in-place.

pub fn toggle(&mut self, other: Rename2Flags)[src]

Toggles the specified flags in-place.

pub fn set(&mut self, other: Rename2Flags, value: bool)[src]

Inserts or removes the specified flags depending on the passed value.
