A fresh Future<Int> that polls fut until it completes or nanos nanoseconds pass, reporting which happened.

The value is not carried here: the inner future wrote its own output slot, and Nova reads it with task_output on the inner future itself, so nothing moves an i64 that might be a scalar or a pointer.
