Function nova_rt_task_release

Source
#[unsafe(no_mangle)]
pub unsafe extern "C-unwind" fn nova_rt_task_release(future: *mut u8)
Expand description

End the executor’s claim on the task named by future’s state object. See [release_internal] for why this exists next to nova_rt_task_take_output rather than instead of it, and why calling it twice is a no-op rather than a diagnostic.

"C-unwind": see nova_rt_task_is_done’s doc comment.

§Safety

future must be a valid future fat pointer (see [read_future]). One this thread never spawned ends the process rather than releasing the wrong task (see [task_id_of]).
