Read path’s bytes. Returns a status; on OK the contents are waiting in nova_rt_fs_take_bytes.

Unlike nova_rt_fs_read_to_string this cannot produce INVALID_DATA: there is no encoding to violate. Any status other than OK is a real I/O failure.

Safety

path must point to a live NovaStr.
