FIX acceptor. Rust owns framing, the Logon handshake rules, the session layer and its timers; the handler admits each counterparty and answers each application message.
Modules§
- actions
- codec
- FIX tag=value framing (FIX 4.x and FIXT.1.1 session layer): BeginString, BodyLength and CheckSum are checked here, length-prefixed data fields may carry SOH, and repeated tags (repeating groups) keep their order.
- dict
- FIX 4.4 field and message names, generated from the FIX44.xml data dictionary that
QuickFIX/Go v0.9.12 ships (
spec/FIX44.xml), for structured events and actions. Tags not listed (user-defined 5000-9999, later versions) are still carried by number. - session
- The FIX session layer both roles share: sequence numbers in both directions, gap detection with ResendRequest, answering a peer’s ResendRequest with the stored application messages (PossDupFlag) and SequenceReset-GapFill for everything else, TestRequest / Heartbeat, Logout, and the timers that drive them.
Constants§
- BEGIN_
STRINGS - DEFAULT_
BEGIN_ STRING - DEFAULT_
COMP_ ID - LOGON_
TIMEOUT - LOGOUT_
WAIT - How long to wait for the counterparty’s Logout after sending ours.
