How long a server-initiated snapshot waits for the store’s cross-process write lock before giving up.

Short on purpose. A snapshot is an optimisation — it shortens the next open’s replay — so skipping one costs nothing but a longer replay, whereas blocking the shutdown path or piling up timer ticks behind a busy peer costs the operator.
