Expand description
Out-of-core provider contracts for renderer and analysis consumers.
Catalog metadata scales with the number of logical datasets, while every payload owns only one shared chunk. Parsing and physical I/O remain with the source that implements the provider; consumers request typed chunks by stable global identity.
Structs§
- Atom
Endpoint - Stable atom identity independent of chunk residency.
- Bond
Chunk - One independently requestable range of an immutable bond table.
- Bond
Chunk Provider - Zero-copy provider for regularly paged chemical bond topology.
- Bond
Chunk Record - One bond projected from native storage with global atom endpoints.
- Chunk
Descriptor - Stable global identity and compact local extent of one chunk.
- ChunkId
- Stable 64-bit chunk.
- Dataset
Catalog - Hierarchical catalog whose memory scales with datasets, not logical chunks.
- Dataset
Descriptor - O(1) metadata for one logical dataset.
- Dataset
Id - Stable 64-bit dataset.
- Frame
Chunk - One coordinate-frame chunk retaining shared aligned storage.
- Frame
Chunk Provider - Zero-copy provider for one coordinate frame over an existing chunk layout.
- Local
Row - Compact row index used only inside one resident chunk.
- Logical
Row - Stable 64-bit logical row.
- Property
Chunk - One typed property chunk retaining its immutable source snapshot.
- Property
Chunk Provider - Zero-copy provider for one typed atom property.
- Structure
Chunk - One structure chunk retaining its immutable native snapshot.
- Structure
Chunk Provider - Zero-copy provider for structure chunks already present in one snapshot.
Enums§
- Chunk
Layout - How chunk boundaries are determined.
- Payload
Kind - Payload carried by a dataset.
- Property
Kind - Physical type of a property payload.
- Property
Value - One property value projected without materialising a column.
- Provider
Error - Failure to describe or produce an out-of-core chunk.
Constants§
- TARGET_
CHUNK_ BONDS - Default maximum number of bonds independently requested in one payload.
