What microvms_core::control::image::Image::is_ready and is_failed are decided against. The
three *_FAILED spellings are why is_failed is a substring test rather than a set: a
fourth added later is still recognised as a failure rather than polled to the deadline, and
the test below asserts that reading is still true of every member here.
