A version as a release tag spells it, without the leading v, or a refusal.
The version becomes a path component of the cache and an argument to gh and a URL, so
it must be a plain tag: ASCII letters, digits, ., +, -, starting with a letter or
digit, with no ... That rules out every traversal and every flag.
