Enable readable HTTP denial responses. Enabled by default locally.

Choose the response format. Defaults to JSON.

Set the legacy text message, substituting {host}. Ignored in JSON mode. Deprecated: prefer JSON mode and network_deny_message for new integrations.

Set the network-denial JSON message. Used as-is. Requires deny_response(true) and JSON mode. An empty message preserves the code with an empty message; omission uses the default.

Set the literal secret-denial JSON message. Requires deny_response(true) and JSON mode. Omission uses the default; an empty string leaves message empty.
