Process information structure

This structure implements basic process information. Architectures are provided both of the system, and of the process.

Fields§

§address: Address

The base address of this process.

Remarks

On Windows this will be the address of the _EPROCESS structure.

§pid: Pid

ID of this process.

§state: ProcessState

The current status of the process at the time when this process info was fetched.

Remarks

This field is highly volatile and can be re-checked with the Process::state() function.

§name: ReprCString

Name of the process.

§path: ReprCString

Path of the process binary

§command_line: ReprCString

Command line the process was started with.

§sys_arch: ArchitectureIdent

System architecture of the target system.

§proc_arch: ArchitectureIdent

Process architecture

Remarks

Specifically on 64-bit systems this could be different to the sys_arch in case the process is an emulated 32-bit process.

On windows this technique is called WOW64.

§dtb1: Address

Directory Table Base

Remarks

These fields contain the translation base used to translate virtual memory addresses into physical memory addresses. On x86 systems only dtb1 is set because only one dtb is used. On arm systems both dtb1 and dtb2 are set to their corresponding values.

§dtb2: Address
